The Acropolis at night
Athens, the capital of Greece, the city with the most amazing history in the world, a city worshipped by Gods and people, a magical city, and one of the most photographed cities in all of Europe. The climate is one of the best in Europe, with mild winters and very hot summers, ideal for tourism. Take in the marvels of the Acropolis, which is one of the 7 wonders of the modern world. Explore this beautiful city and visit other important archaeological monuments like the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, and the Theatre of Dionysos. Walk along the Plaka and the old neighborhoods, shop at the small intimate shops around the city and experience some of Athens nightlife. Let the city of Athens enchant you and let it be the start of an amazing journey.

Mykonos Harbor
From Athens we can fly to one of the many beautiful islands Greece is known for. Let’s start with Mykonos – this beautiful, cosmopolitan island will not disappoint when it comes to fun in the sun and fun after dark. Wander through the narrow streets lined seeing all of the houses, shops, churches, restaurants and windmills that are immaculately whitewashed, with door frames and window shutters highlighted with splashes of sky blue and jade green. The streets are a maze of narrow, winding alleyways - many only two or four feet wide, overhung with dazzling pink and purple blossoms. On every second doorstep sits a cat, gazing down serenely at passersby. Additionally, Mykonos offers fine dining, beautiful beaches, spectacular sunsets and a notoriously wild night life, clubbing and party scene.

Romantic Santorini
Need a little relaxation after visiting Mykonos, try the island of Santorini. Thought to be the lost continent of Atlantis, this island is known as the jewel of the Aegean. The white washed homes, narrow streets and cafes of Fira cling to the high steep cliff providing the famous panoramic views Santorini is known for. During the day, visit one of the black sandy beaches or sit at a cliff side cafe. By night, visit an authentic Greek nightspot for an unforgettable evening.

Looking to improve your cooking skills? Enjoy the tastes of Santorini. The Greek goddess, Demeter, taught humans how to prepare grain. Draw from her teachings in your cooking class! Learn how to prepare traditional foods using local products. Sample the wines of two local wineries and toast Dionysus, the Greek god of wine! We think you’ll agree with the critics, Santorini’s wines are among the finest in Greece.

Next stop, the renowned island of Crete. This beautiful island is more like a small country, than another Greek island. It’s not just Greece’s largest island, but possibly the most fascinating and diverse. Crete’s remarkable history is obvious across the island, from the ruins of the Minoan Palace of Knossos, known as the home of the mythical Labyrinth of the Minotaur monster and King Minos. Explore the quaint towns, visit old mosques and Byzantine monasteries and travel to the cave that is the legendary birthplace of Zeus.

The goddess Demeter’s influence is again present! Enjoy the tastes of Crete, a hands-on journey through Crete’s culinary traditions. Set in an 18th century farmhouse surrounded by organic gardens, you’ll learn to prepare Cretan dishes. Enjoy your meal with some Cretan wines and cheese tasting.

Since Crete is made of many small provinces, take a tour of beautiful Keramia with its picturesque little villages. Stop at the archaeological site of Aptera. Continue on to the tiny village of Drakona and then along the foot of the White Mountains to the historic village of Therisso. Stop to eat at a wonderful family owned taverna with great views before traveling on to the village of Meskla to see a small chapel with frescoes.

Charming Agios Nikolaos
End your stay in Crete with a visit to Agios Nikolaos, a charming small port town that is truly one of the most picturesque towns in Crete. Nestled in the peaceful Mirabello Bay, the town takes its name from St. Nickolas, the protector of sailors.

Obviously we can go on and tell you all about the other well known islands like Rhodes, Corfu, Patmos, Paros, but we think you should experience them for yourselves. Greece offers you everything you would expect during your honeymoon and/or destination wedding. With romance, passion, and fantasy, classical Greece and her islands await you for your dream come true experience.
